Thursday 6th of April
It’s knock-off day! and everyone will be preparing for Good Friday’s public holiday, the traffic will be busy, and the shopping centers will be chaos. We recommend arriving at Mooloolaba a few days prior to avoid the mania and turn your long weekend into a long stay!
Good Friday 7th April
Majority of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants including bottles shops and grocery stores will be closed on Good Friday in Mooloolaba. Stock-up before hand and head down to Mooloolaba spit for a barbeque, with free barbeque facilities, quite cove for safe swimming and children’s playgrounds, it’s the perfect way to spend a day with the family.
Easter Sunday 9th April
The Easter Bunny has arrived, the kids are hyped up on breakfast chocolate it’s time to hit the watersport. We recommend Sunreef Mooloolaba for surfboard, stand-up paddle board and kayak hire or rent a boat or jet ski to cruise on the water.
Easter Monday 10th April
Even though it is a public holiday, vendors throughout the esplanade and the Mooloolaba wharf will be open. Be mindful that trading hours may vary due to Easter Monday being a public holiday.
